From Turkey to TelAviv

by Crescent Moon Studios

After a 10 hour flight, we touched in Istanbul, where we feast on Turkish delights and thick and rich Turkish coffee. After our layover, we headed to TelAviv’s Ben Gurion Airport, where we met our Palestinian, Christian guide. We took a bus through the West Bank and Ramallah, and finally entered Jersuelum. We were welcomed to the St. Georges Cathedral Guest House, which is an Anglican retreat in East Jeruselem.

We were taken on a brief walk through the Arab section of the city, and viewed a number of historic sites, including the Damascus Gate.

Bishop Andrew Dietche, our fellow pilgrim, led is in prayer and reminded us of the sacred nature of our trip.
